  Great spring camping option for Boise folks looking to get into the Owyhees. Easiest travel is Boise to Homedale, 6 miles west on HWY 19, then 16 miles south (marked turn-off) on good dirt roads to the campground. Camped here on Memorial Day and there were a few spots even Saturday afternoon for late arrivals. Good rudimentary trails around the surrounding cliffs, bird watching, and star-gazing. Great overnight or two night destination. Vault toilet, no potable water, fire-rings and picnic tables.
